This is my second time participating in the UVA STARTALK Chinese Teacher Academy program. It is truly an amazing program for Chinese teachers in the United States. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this program and to work and connect with the best Chinese teachers across the country. We collaborate closely to address real classroom challenges and create lessons that can be implemented in our own classrooms.

The program has also allowed me to reflect on my teaching practices and reconsider concepts such as "authenticity," "task-based language teaching," "teaching with technology," and "student-centered class." Professor Tseng and all the mentor teachers have provided valuable guidance in this process. This has been an impressive and wonderful learning experience for me, and I highly recommend this program to all Chinese teachers in the United States.
